Wine Cave keeps the record of what is in your cellar, learns what you like from the verdict you give each bottle, and tells you what to open tonight for the dish in front of you. It is an iPhone and iPad app. A Mac version comes later.
- Tonight Say the dish, the grape or the mood. Three bottles come back, each with its reasons.
- Cellar Every bottle: producer, vintage, grapes, region, the drinking window and the shelf it sits on.
- Restock What is running low, and what to buy instead of the same thing again. It opens the supplier's page. You pay, not the app.
- Stocktake Photograph the rack and check the count against the record, bottle by bottle.
What it does not do
No analytics, no ads, no tracking. Your cellar is one file on your device. It never comes to us. If you turn on iCloud sync, your iPhone, iPad and Mac share it through your own iCloud, which we cannot read.
The AI features are optional, and they are the one part that needs an account. Every account has a free monthly AI allowance; when it is used up, the AI features pause until the next month and say so. Everything else — the cellar, the recommendations, the stock maths, the tasting table — keeps working, and works signed out, with no network at all. When you use an AI feature, what it needs is sent to an AI company (Anthropic, with OpenAI and Google as backups), and the privacy policy says exactly what, and when.
Nothing is bought inside the app. Restock ends at the supplier's own site, in your browser. Wine Cave never handles a payment and never sees a card.
